Together with AFX it is possible to predefine hole creation in an assembly. As you can see in the picture a bolted fastener is created. On Side 2 the Side 2 - Auto UDF is checked and an Offset of 50.00 is entered.
The fastener is assembled together with a coordinate system. This coordinate system can now be used to automatically create an thru hole after I_STAHL.ASM is assembled to another assembly.
In this example we assemble the I_STAHL.ASM and pattern it three times. Now the Framework > Automatic UDFs command can be used to create the holes in the connecting plate.
Make sure that you have a Framework project created.
The plate must be included to the project.
Note:
Set the IFX option CREATE_CSYS_FOR_AUTO_UDF_CREATION to YES to use this functionality.
