There are different ways to author a new Product Idea depending on where you are located within the community. Find the instructions below that best suits your situation.
From the Homepage
If you have just entered the community, from the “Brose” dropdown menu, choose “Product Ideas”
From the Actions menu on the right hand side of the page, choose "Create Idea"
Click "All Spaces" to see a list of product lines that your Idea can be created in

From a Product Community
If you are already in a product community (shown below is the Creo community), you can click on the “Ideas” tab.
From the Actions toolbox on the right side of the page, choose “Create an Idea”

Begin entering the details of your Product Idea
- Note that a list of Ideas with similar words will display to help make sure that you aren't entering a duplicate Idea. If you find a similar Product Idea, simply click on the Idea in the list and vote for it to show your support.
- Be as descriptive as possible so that users can easily understand what your Idea is about without having to read all of the details
- Choose appropriate categories for your Idea
- Choose or enter tags that will help others find your Idea when searching
